The short version: Crayon Press runs on your computer, keeps the artwork on your computer, and asks the internet for nothing.

What the app collects

Nothing. Crayon Press has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no telemetry, and no crash reporting that leaves your machine. The photographs you import, the books you compose, and the app's database live in your own Documents folder, under your control, readable without the app.

What the app sends

Nothing. The app makes no network requests — it does not check for updates itself (your app store handles updates), does not fetch remote content, and never transmits images or names anywhere.

Children's artwork

The whole point of the app is children's art, so this is worth saying plainly: that art, and any names you attach to it, exist only as files on your computer. We never see them, store them, or receive them — we have no servers that could.

This website

crayonpress.app sets no cookies, runs no analytics script, and embeds no tracking pixel or third-party beacon. Fonts load from Google Fonts, whose logs are governed by Google's privacy policy.

Links we hand out in emails and posts point at short /go/… addresses on this domain that redirect you onward. We count how many times each of those addresses was fetched, so we can tell which one someone came from. That count is a line in the host's ordinary server log, kept for three days. It sets nothing on your device, it is not tied to you, and it does not follow you to wherever the link goes.
